At any time during the design phase within SoftPlan, a 3D rendering of the model can be generated with just a few clicks of the mouse.  From a simple Wire Frame, to Hand Sketched, to Illustrated Mode, to a photo realistic rendering, SoftView is unparalleled as both a sales tool as well as a design aid for troubleshooting problems during the design.

Since SoftPlan allows you to draw with ease, varying wall types and heights and creating openings which conform to Manufactured Designed Product Codes, coupled with the industry leader in flexible roof design tools, the 3D model is simply an extension of what you have been designing. 

SoftView takes the drawing, generates a 3D model, and through intuitive commands allows for a photorealistic Interior and Exterior 3D rendering to be created.  Within SoftView, you will have access to thousands of textures which can be readily assigned to represent various brick, roof, or paint colors.  If you need a texture other than what is provided, simply import or scan the texture and apply it to the model.  

Renderings can be further customized by adding shadows according to geographical locations and time of year.  Additionally SoftPlan’s extensive libraries including electrical fixtures with embedded lighting sources, as well as highly detailed furniture, automobile, and landscaping symbols will allow you to create your own highly detailed images.

At any time, animations can be created and exported which will allow for both fly around of the exterior or a rotation around a central point from the interior.  As the user, you will have full control over the number of frames and size of the file which can be viewed using most standard Windows® Media Players. 

In addition to being able to create a set animation rotation, SoftPlan’s 3D reView will export the model with all of the texture assignments and allow for the client to perform their own walk through on their own PC without the need to own SoftPlan themselves.  This optional module will enable your customers to view the 3D allowing for both enhanced communication as well as greater customer satisfaction.
