Why does my 3D model switch over to Wireframe mode when I do a walkthrough?
 
The model has too many surfaces for the video card to process.  The model may switch over to Wireframe mode if it is unable to carry out the regeneration until the action is completed. Then the model will regenerate in the selected mode. Upgrading the Video Card on your system will help optimize the graphics.
