When scaling the drawing to print, I cannot see the entire drawing or scaling box.

Upon selecting a scale for your drawing, SoftPlan zooms out to the Workspace. To increase the Workspace Limits, select File > Drawing Options > Workspace Limits, and increase to a size that will allow for your drawing to be completely displayed.
