When I generate the roof framing as a drawing, how do I also show the roof outline?

In addition to generating the framing as a drawing, you would also need to generate a bird's eye of the roof and save this as a drawing. Open each drawing and from Draw > Reference, place a reference point on a common corner to both drawings. Finally, open the bird's eye drawing, select File > Merge and open the Roof Framing drawing. Both drawings will be merged together to become one drawing, with the reference points being used as the point to align them.
