The .dxf/.dwg file that I imported is just lines and notes. How do I work with it in SoftPlan?

This drawing can be used as a template to build up the information in SoftPlan. Lines can easily be converted to walls. It is first recommended to erase all wall lines for exterior walls, except for the outermost visible. Then go to File > System Options > Setup Options. For Wall Trace Line position select Exterior - Outermost Visible. This will set the reference for the next command 'Convert Shape to Wall' (Tools > Convert Shape to Wall). Select the desired Wall Type from the list and then select on the line to change. As long as the original wall and new wall look the same on plan, this procedure will ensure that the outside dimensions are maintained. Other items can then be added like Symbols, Openings, Dimensions, etc. in order to recreate the information from the template into an actual SoftPlan drawing. It can then be used to generate in 3D and SoftList.
