High School Students in US and Canada Keep Winning Competitions with SoftPlan
Nathan Lanzetti, a student at James F. Byrnes High School, in Spartanburg, South Carolina was awarded first place in Computer Aided Design 2D Architectural at the 2008 National TSA (Technology Student Association) Conference. The event was held in Orlando, FL on June 28th. Impressively, Nathan took first place out of over forty other students. His instructor at James F. Byrnes High School is David Kalk. Also we offer our congratulations to Angie Schempp from Abbey Park High School in Oakville, Ontario who placed second in Architectural CADD at the Skills Canada competition held in May using SoftPlan. It was a very close contest and Angie missed out by only 5 points from being in 1st place. Her Technological Design teacher is Sarah Cunningham and at the time of competition, Angie had only been using SoftPlan for four months. Angie plans to pursue studies in Landscape Architecture. |
