SoftPlan Winners - Schools that utilize the SoftPlan Educational package in their curriculum have found great success this past year at regional and local Architectural Drafting Competitions. Students who use SoftPlan have an edge over their competitors because they can draft houses and make changes much more quickly than students using other CAD software. SoftPlan students can then spend more time focusing on their design rather than the actual drafting. Here are some of the recent winners.

Jamie Colby, the 2005 National Champion in Architectural Design Drafting, has also recently won the Arizona Gold Medal in Architectural Design Drafting in the collegiate group using SoftPlan. Kacie Vanesse won the Arizona Gold Medal in the high school group. Jamie is now a freshman at Arizona State University and Kacie is a student at the Northwest Education Center in Glendale, AZ. Both students will compete in the 2006 National SkillsUSA Championships in Kansas City, MO.
