Change Symbol - The Change Symbol command allows for a global replacement of a particular Symbol, Electrical Symbol, or Speed Note throughout a drawing regardless of the number of times it has been used on the drawing. Eliminating the need to use repeat edit, this tool ensures that all applicable symbols are successfully replaced. Go to Edit > Change Symbol, select the symbol or speed note to change and select OK. From the Select New Symbol Dialog, select the new symbol or speed note and select OK.

Version 14 Tool You May Have Missed - The 3D review tool allows a fully detailed 3D model to be exported and e-mailed to a client. The client is then able to navigate through and around the model using the free download viewer. reView 3D eliminates the need to generate large animation files while placing control of reviewing the design in the hands of the client. Question: Is there a way to add trim to items when there is not an option to automatically add it through the regular edit dialog?
Answer: In SoftView, the Draw-Profile command allows for the custom placement of trim where it may not be possible to automatically place the trim with a simple checkbox. Examples include adding a frieze board to false gable ends or a corner board to only the top portion of a wall corner. Watch Movie |

Setting Your Computer System's Clock Correctly - Prior to installing the SoftPlan key, it is important to check that the date, time, and time zone are set correctly on the computer system and that all systems where the key will be installed are synchronized. Upon start-up, SoftPlan checks the time on your system relative to the time that the key was last used. As long as the system time is not set earlier than the last time the key was used, SoftPlan will open seamlessly.
