How to dimension to the center of a Post?

Posts will conform to whatever option is currently set for Shapes under the Dimension Format and Extension Format menus. Under Dimension > Extension Format change the Shapes option to Center. Then a single extension can be pulled from the center of post in order to dimension into place.
