How do I print out paint patterns using different colors for different patterns?

Once the paint patterns have been added, select Edit > Edit Item and choose the paint pattern. From the edit menu, assign the appropriate pen number based on the drawing options Printer Pen Setup selections. For more information on setting up Pen Thickness and Colors, refer to FAQ "Printed Lines are not the proper thickness or color."
