How do I modify the saved Detail Symbols?

Once drawn and moved into place on the sheet, select Misc > Explode, move your cursor to the symbol and click the From key (or hover cursor over the Symbol and hit ctrl + E). This will convert the symbol to shapes and notes, which can now be manipulated to meet your specifications.
