How do I maintain my color changes?

You must make the changes in the System Options; any changes made in the Drawing Options will affect only the
specific drawing. To change colors, select File > System Options > Assign Color. To have an existing drawing
updated to the newly updated system level color palette, select File > Drawing Options > Assign Color >
Load Default.
