How do I create a plot file?

You will need to obtain and install the appropriate Windows plotter driver onto your system. For more information on installing a driver in Windows, consult your printer and/or Windows documentation. Once installed, select File > Print to open the Print Drawing menu. After selecting the correct driver, place a check in the Print to File box to enable.
After scaling the drawing and selecting OK, Windows will prompt you for the destination of the file. Using the Windows Explorer, navigate to the appropriate directory, and type in a name, maintaining the .prn extension.
